Indian Coast guard Requirement 2023
Applications are invlted from Male Indian Citizens possessing educational
qualiflcation and age as prescribed below for the recruitment for the post of Enrolled
Follower (Sweeper/Safalwala) in Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.
Types of Vacancy Enrolled Followel (Sweeper/Safaiwala) (Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted
Education Qualification Matriculation or Industrial Training Institute (m) or equivalent from Board of Education recognized by Central/State Govt.
Indian Coast guard Requirement 2023 Age limit
Should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 22 Aug 22 (date by which the employment exchange was asked to furnish the list). Upper age limit relaxable upto 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC/ST candidates.
Physical Shndards Following are the requirement of physical standards:-
(A) Hight. lvlinimum height requirement is 157 cms (which may be reduced up to 5 cms in the case of Nagaland, Mizoram,Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tuipura, Garhwal/Kumaon, Sikkim, local tribals of Andaman &
Nlcobar Islands and upto 2 cms in case of candidate from LakshadweeD, mainland
settlers in Andaman & Nlcobar for candidates joining the Coast Guard).
(b) Chest, Should be well proportioned. tvlintmum expansion 5cms.
(c) Weight. Proportionate to height and age (+ 10o/o acceptable).
(d) Eve (Better) 6/60 (Worse) without gjasses, 6/9 (Better) 06/24 (Worse) with glasses.
Selection Process

(a) Written Exam. Alt etigible candidates shall appear in a written test (50 Marks) comprising of General Knowledge and General English (Level of 10ih standard). The duration of written test is one hour, The pass marks will be 500/0 for the General (including EWS) and OBC candidates and 45o/o for SC/ST candidates. Only those who qualify in the wrttten test written test will aDDear in the “Professional Skill Test”.
(B) Personal Skill Test.PST). The pST wilt be of qualifying/Not qualifying nature Q/NQ). The skil test shall consist of following activttiet and one shall qualify in each activity.
(c) . Personal Fitness Test PFT All those candidates who have qualified both in the Written Test and professional Skill Test will have to qualify the physical Fitness Test (PFT) on the same day or on the nelt day. The pFT will be of QUALIFYING nature (‘Q/NQ’). The standards for pFT are laid down below:
(d) Medical Test Candidates who Qualified written test, psT and PFT will be subjected to a medical examination as per m’edical standards for Indjan Coast Guard,
How To apply
The application is to be submtted on a A4 size paper typed/ hand written as Der format enclosed.
